I believe that in working with individuals, it is not only beneficial to identify negative patterns of behavior, but to determine the deep underlying causes of these patterns in order to enact lasting change. Whether these patterns are related to mental health, substance abuse, relationships, or anything else a person may be struggling with, I work together with individuals to build on their resiliency and strengths to facilitate forward movement towards their personal goals.

My clinical background, foundation, and training, focuses on techniques of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and fundamentals and interventions of Adlerian Psychology.

Working together, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most powerful that exists towards creating change and increasing quality of life.
